Fifty - five years ago, Premji Hirji Gala set up a small shop, Satya Vijay Cloth Stores, at Breach Candy, Bombay, being deeply influenced at the age of fourteen, by the sacrifices of Raja Harischandra who was a great king of the Raghu dynasty (Satya in Hinduism means Truth and Vijay means Victory). But after five years this shop was rechristened as Premsons Bazaar, in anticipation of the day his sons would join him in running the business which slowly expanded into toys, kitchenware, staitionery and other consumer durables
Today, Premsons is the culmination of the vision of Premji Gala. Through our retail and wholesale division, we cover the Indian retail market across, at Breach Candy, now renamed as Premsons Square, retail customers are offered the widest selection of goods and services spread over 30,000 square feet.
Premsons employs 325 full time staff in Bombay, has 300 wholesale distributors throughout India who cover over 25,000 retail points of sale in the country.
