Best Buy / Geek Squad
Best Buy’s Geek Squad dreamed of building a new website where their Geek Squad Agents could network and compete to find solutions to “some of the hi-techiest, sci-fiest and most geeked-out things imaginable”. This new website was part of a change in brand positioning strategy to change the perception that Geek Squad Agents just fix computers.

He brings to the company 15 years of experience implementing large scale, mission critical solutions for Fortune 1000 clients. Prior to founding Oshyn, Diego derived his expertise from being one of the first employees of i-Cube/Razorfish where consistent, predictable project delivery allowed the company to grow from a small I.T. consulting startup, to what became one of the most successful consulting firms during the internet boom. Diego holds a BA in computer science (summa cum laude) from Clark University in Worcester, MA.

Our Recipe for Success

The Discovery phase is about understanding the business strategy for the website and the functionality and requirements that will help the client achieve the goals and objectives set in that strategy.

In the Design phase Oshyn begins the work of taking the business strategy and the requirements provided in the Discovery phase then begins to map out a plan and a blue print for how to implement the site.

In the Develop phase Oshyn takes the concepts and designs that have been developed for the user experience, visual design, and technology and begins to build out the site in a test driven and iterative manner.

In the Deploy phase Oshyn ensures that the client is ready for the launch of the site and will be able to maintain the site after launch. Business users do a final round of user acceptance testing and both business and technical staff receive training on the new system.
